Yanukovych instructed to begin selling cheap buckwheat from the State Reserve

President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich signed the order to start selling buckwheat from stocks Goskomrezerva and the Agrarian Fund of Ukraine. It is reported by the press office of President.
The President instructed the government to stabilize the situation on food market, to ensure accessibility to the population of essential goods and to avoid unjustified price increases. In particular, Viktor Yanukovych instructed the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov to September 10 to provide intervention in the food market at the expense of stocks Goskomrezerva and the Agrarian Fund of Ukraine, first of all, buckwheat.
However, the Government is obliged to ensure readiness of the infrastructure for making and storing the harvest of buckwheat this year, with minimal losses.
In addition, the President instructed the government together with the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and regional executive authorities to urgently assess the validity of a sharp rise in prices of food, agricultural products, particularly in the buckwheat.
