Ukraine can export to Georgia 150 tonnes of wheat

The Ukrainian government has decided to export of 150 thousand tons of wheat in Georgia on the basis of contracts of their respective companies. Told the Ukrainian Ambassador to Georgia Basil Tsybenko during a meeting with Vice Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Baramidze.
According to “Georgia online”, these and other questions will be addressed during the visit of G. Baramidze in Ukraine, where he was expected to meet with government representatives, regional authorities and the parliament.
In addition, the meeting discussed issues of deepening and strengthening of the Georgian-Ukrainian relations in the direction of European integration, as well as business development and working more closely in the economic sphere.
Earlier it was reported that the Cabinet is considering the introduction of quotas in the amount of 2,5 million tons for export of wheat and barley by the end of 2010.
Later, Minister of Agrarian Policy Nicholas Prisyajnyuk assured that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine until introduce quotas on grain exports.
