It’s difficult to explain why do many drivers and passengers refuse to fasten their seatbelts in the car, and qiute often they explain themselves in a strange way. According to the research of a British company TRL, many drivers do not use a seatbelt because of the different kinds of phobias. Some people suppose that at the angle collision the seatbelts can strangle the driver, while 15% of the respondents are sure that at the front-face collision the seatbelts can break the ribs. 25% of the inerrogated drivers believe that if a person is not wearing a belt, then, at the frontal collision it will fly through the windshield on the soft grass, and will remain unharmed.
